First Job: Tiffin and Time-sheet

It has been five months since I have got my first a job as software developer.

In it's true sense. I have been paid for getting frustrated by sitting idle or doing trivial research on things which have no significance to my project. I’m actually now confused about what I’m getting from this job ( I don’t question salary I get though :P), what my employer getting from me; this is what a software engineer supposed to be ?
But apart from the nature of the work which is not so like hard programming, the two things which I haven't managed to adjust with: Tiffin and Timesheet.

Tiffin
Each morning, I am given that three compartment body structure filled with food, supposed to be eat. But, the amount of efforts that it takes to balance and prevent it from licking of oily juices amidst rush and up-downs of State Transport bus is too much.

In five months I had forgotten my Tiffin four times in the ST bus and forced me to run behind it like mad; checking buses like bomb squad.

Each time I encounter weird looks of my family members suggesting their concerns: “We fear what and how you mange to a job; your boss must be a God”. Contrary, I have got it that three compartment Tiffin back each time.(And finally, I lost the one :( )

Time-sheet
The second nightmare is time-sheet.
Time-sheet is a measure of work - number of hours spend on each task, you do on a day
On the first day of job itself, I was taught to fill and send the time-sheet and on a serious note, on that day itself I forgot to attach time-sheet and I was asked to send it on the next morning.

I don’t remember how many times I have sent mail without attachment on first instance and re-rending with time-sheet next minute when I realize that I forgot to attach. (Bosses should understand the excitement of last 15 minutes before leaving office)

By the time management realized that I should not be treated like a fresher and how creative I have became by making an half and hour task to four hours, I have been asked to explain my tasks at least once in a week.
But one thing I definitely cracked about this creature is that even if you are working on a some serious and useful task which takes about 7 long hours, don’t show this much of time, Divide this task into smaller tasks (write same things in different words, Yes it works :P)
Still, filling timesheet is one of the laziest tasks in my life though I may have done a good task on that particular day.
